Jan Formby
began her fascination with
clay in 1975 while taking a community course in Vancouver. This
fascination grew into an obsession and in 1998 she graduated from
Kootenay School of the Arts with a Diploma of Ceramic Art. She is
now a full time potter and works out of her studio, Red Moon Gallery in
Nelson, B.C. She produces functional porcelain tableware,
translucent ambient lamps and animal sculptures. Her image mugs
are her most popular item. |
